Guidelines for Driving Licence of Czech

Introduction

The Czech Republic is a country in Central Europe. It is bordered by Poland to the north, Germany to the west, Austria and Slovakia to the south, and Ukraine and Hungary to the east. The Czech Republic also has a long tradition of driving on its roads. Nearly 90% of all Czech citizens drive their car or motorcycle at some point during their lifetime. The Czech Republic has one of Europe’s highest road fatality rates per capita.

The Czech Republic has two types of driving licences:

● A category D1 (motorcycle) or M (moped) – for persons aged 15 years or older who have passed an exam and have at least two years experience in riding motorcycles or mopeds;

● A category C1E (truck) – for those over 18 years old who have passed the appropriate exam.
